The international trade association supporting the world trade of oilseeds, oils, fats, and edible groundnuts/peanuts. The Federation was founded in 1971 on the amalgamation of four predecessor associations, the oldest of which dates back to 1863. Today the Federation represents over 700 members in 67 countries. FOSFA is concerned exclusively with the world trade in oilseeds, oils, fats and edible peanuts and is the major association of its kind in the field.
